There are just some things in the TVL that we have come accustomed to. So, when Centralia and Hanover met up on Friday, I don't know if there was any fan that was in awe to hear that the two teams had gone to overtime.

Hanover led for the largest portion of the 1st half with 8 point edge at the halftime break. Something happened in the halftime locker room for both teams as both came out with a brand-new pep we really hadn't seen early. First it was Hanover, who pushed their lead up to a dozen and looked like they may put this game out of reach. But not willing to give up yet, Centralia fired back led by Hayden Kramer's 7 points, finishing with a team-high 16 points. But the Lady Panthers knew couldn't rest just yet.

The 4th may have been the quarter Centralia impressed most, nearly outscoring the Lady Wildcats by nearly 10 points in the period with the game tying shot coming from Keelyn Rempe as time expired and we were tied at 40.

In the overtime, it became a bit of a free throw contest, where neither team could really catch an edge. But then, Centralia was able to go one of their key shot makers to take the lead.

With 6 seconds remaining, Hanover still had a realistic chance at retaking the lead. A good shot went off the rim, but Hanover couldn't get the put back and Centralia took the victory 44-43.

As expected, this game was absolutely incredible once again.
