Clifton-Clyde and Blue Valley light up the scoreboard. Eagles come out on top.

Here's hoping the folks at Clifton-Clyde High School have some back up light bulbs to put into their scoreboard this week because the Eagles and the Blue Valley Rams tore it to shreds on Friday night with over 130 points in an 82-50 Clifton-Clyde win.
Sit back because these numbers are absolutely bonkers. 979 total combined yards, 17 combined touchdowns and maybe the most impressive part, each team committed just 1 turnover.
Kyzler Damman was 15 of 20 passing connecting with 6 different receivers including Trenton Benne who led Clifton-Clyde with 80 yards and Kiernan Fahey who scored on 2 of his 3 catches.
But it was the ground game where Damman did the real damage. Averaging 10 yards per carry with 272 yards and 5 touchdowns two of those coming from over 50 yards out.
Blue Valley threw for 178 yards and 4 scores while earning 141 yards on the ground with a pair of TDs as well.
Both teams will seemingly their hands full next week as well. Clifton-Clyde will take on Axtell in a battle of state ranked teams and Blue Valley will face off against Canton-Galva who blew out Goessel 52-6 this past Friday.
