KBCA Polls Have Big TVL Flavor
The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association released their Girls All-State team with a big Twin Valley League presence. On the girls' side in 1A D-1, Clifton-Clyde's Sevy Wurtz and Centralia's Josie Haverkamp were both named to the 1st team while fellow Centralia Lady Panther Tava Gibbs is on the 2nd team and Hayden Kramer is a 3rd teamer. A Look at State Basketball
State sites and brackets have been released. In 2A, the Valley Heights girls will head to Salina for their first rou 2nd matchup against 2 seed Moundridge. That game to be played at the Tony's Pizza Event Center (the old Bicentennial Center) at 6pm this Tuesday. Behind 17 from Miller, Valley Heights doubles up Clay Center
Occasionally, the question arises of whether teams at higher classifications have more ability when it comes to game day. On Tuesday, the Valley Heights girls had the opportunity to settle that debate taking on Clay Center and boy did they.
