In a game that many had circled as the first day's toss up in the girls, Frankfort and Blue Valley didn't disappoint with player after player taking a huge part in swinging the game back and forth.

After going to the 1st quarter break, the game was knotted at 8 as Macey Wapp provided the spark for Frankfort with a pair of 3 pointers on her way to 10 points for the Senior. In total, the two teams combined for 24 points from deep in a category that was apparent was going to be a momentum swinger for either team. At halftime. it was 18-15 Lady Rams.

After half, Blue Valley Senior Brynlyn Brockman would take advantage of a Frankfort defense who, at times, couldn't match up with the height of the Lady Rams. Brockman would 8 of her team leading 16 points in the 3rd quarter.

For the rest of the contest, the story was the Blue Valey defense as an Ashlyn Dalinghaus jumper was the only 4th quarter score the Lady Wildcats could put together, and Blue Valley would take the victory 39-29.

Frankfort was led by 10 points apiece from Dalinghaus and Wapp. While Brockman's 16 and 12 more from Emily Kirby would take Blue Valley into a Monday game against top seed Hanover.

The Frankfort team will next take the court on Onaga on Thursday afternoon.
