A Look at State Basketball

In 2A, the Valley Heights girls will head to Salina for their first rou

2nd matchup against 2 seed Moundridge. That game to be played at the Tony's Pizza Event Center (the old Bicentennial Center) at 6pm this Tuesday. With a win the Lady Mustangs would play on the following Thursday against the winner of Saint Marys Colgan and Sacred Heart in Emporia on Thursday.

In 1A D-I, Centralia is the 4 seed facing 5 seed Quinter at Noon on Wednesday at the Tony's Pizza Events center in Salina. If the Lady Panthers win that game they would move on to Dodge City to take on the winner of number 1 seed Little River and 8 seed Central Plains on Friday at 5:30.

In 1A D-II, the Hanover Lady Wildcats are the 4 seed will face 5 seed Marais Des Cygnes Valley at Kansas Wesleyan in Salina at 6pm on Wednesday. If Hanover were to advance they would go to Emporia's White Auditorium to play the winner of top seed Hutch Central Christian and 8 seed Wallace County

The Linn girls are the 7 seed and will face 2 seed Argonia at Friends University in Wichita at 8pm. If the Lady Bulldogs were to advance they would travel to Emporia's White Auditorium on the campus of Emporia State University to take on the winner of 3 seed Bucklin and 6 seed Dighton

In 1A D-2 on the boys side, Axtell is the number 1 seed and will begin at White Auditorium in Emporia against 8 seed Hutch Central Christian on Tuesday. If the Eagles win that game their next would be Thursday in Emporia against the winner of 4 seed Cunningham and 5 seedWeskan

The Hanover boys are the 2 seed and will head to Salina and the Campus of Kansas Wesleyan to take on 16-9 Deerfield. With a win on Tuesday, the Wildcats will travel to Emporia to play either 3 seed Lebo or 6 seed Victoria.
