Blue Valley Girls Make Lasting Impression the 2026 Tournament with First Round Win

Early on, Hanover did a great job of controlling the pace and held the lead 22-20 at the break as Einslee Stallbaumer finished with 8 points in the first half, Stallbaumer was the leading scorer for Hanover in this game earning 20.

After half, Blue Valley found a spark and a big one at half as Brynlyn Brockman went off. After having a solid 8 points in the first two periods Brockman dropped twice that in the second half with 17 as she was able to get to the basket seemingly every time down the court. Lydia Dumler added 10 with Braylynn Brockman right behind with 9.

Despite ending up on the short side of the ledger, the Lady Wildcats were very good in this game, with 3 players in double figures. Einslee Stallbaumer earned 20 points, 12 in the second half. Drew Bruna and Nora Heiman finished with 11 each and Trinity Schlabach scored 9 including a perfect night at the free throw line.

But in the end it was Blue Valley taking the win 56-55. They will take on Centralia Friday at 6pm in the semi-finals. Hanover will play at 6pm on Friday as well facing D-West in the elementary gym in a consolation bracket game
