Lady Mustangs bats lead the way to a 10 run win

Brennah Edie collected three hits in four at bats, as Doniphan West defeated Oskaloosa 15-5 on Monday. Brennah Edie singled in the third inning, doubled in the fourth inning, and singled in the first inning.

Doniphan West won thanks in part to nine runs in the third inning. RBI singles from Brooklyn Denton and Brennah Edie an Ella Haynes double scored 2, Clara Feighner drew a walk, scoring one run, and 3 errors topped it all off.

Doniphan West added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Oskaloosa committed an error, and H’Leigha Idol singled down the right field line, each scoring one run.

Clara Feighner earned the win for Doniphan West. The starting pitcher allowed five hits and five runs (three earned) over six innings, striking out nine and walking one

Doniphan West piled up 11 hits in the game. H’Leigha Idol, Clara Feighner, and Ella Haynes each drove in two runs for Doniphan West . Idol earned with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, tallying 13 walks for the game and stole eight bases.
