No Movement in KBCA Boys Poll for TVL Teams.

In the early goings of the 2025-26 season, sometimes no news is good news and for the teams of the Twin Valley League the placings in the KBCA polls remained the same as week 1. In 1A D-I, Frankfort went north of the border and took care of business against both Lourdes Catholic and Pawnee City(NE) defeating the latter by 17 but having to earn a 52-50 win against Lourdes. The Wildcats remain in the 7 spot this week.

For Centralia, their opening matchup woudl be against perennial top 10 ranked 3A Nemaha Central and the Thunder showed why they get one of those top early rankings defeating Centralia 61-50. Look for Centralia to exorcise some demons tonight as they take on St. Mary's with a few days rest behind them. In 1A D-II, the Axtell Eagles and Hanover Wildcats remain above the rest just as they had all football season. Hanover picked up a win against Troy 68-65 this past Friday while Axtell will see the court for the 1st time this season on Tuesday against Valley Heights
