Onaga Guts Out Exciting Wins over D-West.

In a drama filled walk off victory, Onaga defeated D-West 4-3. Doniphan West jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Hayden Paolino drew a walk, scoring one run, and Tabin Clary singled, scoring two more.

Onaga tied the game in the bottom of the seventh thanks to a triple by Jackson Kolterman, a single by Dylan Magnett, and an error.

Jacob Ronnebaum earned the win for Onaga. Ronnebaum allowed one hit and no runs over two innings, striking out two with no walks. Isaac Wegner pitched 4 1/3 in relief. The pitcher gave up three hits and no runs while, striking out five and walking one.


 L.J. Koelzer led things off on the mound for Onaga. The starter gave up two hits and three runs (two earned) over two-thirds of an inning, striking out one and walking three. Prezten Pace took the loss for Doniphan West. The righty went 4 1/3 innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on six hits, striking out six and walking three.

Dustin Veach started on the mound Doniphan West. Veach gave up one hit and no runs over 3 1/3 innings, striking out three and walking three.


Keagan Venneberg went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Onaga in hits. L.J. Koelzer, Dylan Magnett, and Jackson Kolterman each drove in one run for the Buffaloes. Onaga earned six walks for the game. Maddex Honas and Jackson Kolterman led the team with two walks each. As a team Onaga stole seven bases for the game.


Kemper Clary led Doniphan West with RBI. The infielder went 1-for-4 on the day. Kolter Peterson led Doniphan West with two hits in four at bats. D-West had patience at the plate, piling up six walks for the game. Hayden Paolino and Bret Heim led the team with two walks each.


If fans were looking for a slowdown in the 2nd game of the double dip they certainly didn't get it. As this one also came down to the final innings, with Onaga getting the win in walk-off fashion, 4-3, over the Lady Mustangs.


Doniphan West were the first to get on the board in the first when Paolino singled, scoring one run. Onaga captured the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the first after Jackson Kolterman singled to center field, and Keagan Venneberg laid down a sacrifice bunt, each scoring one run.

Doniphan West tied the game in the top of the fifth thanks to a walk by Peterson, and a single by Clary.

The game was tied at three in the bottom of the eighth when Casen Hutfles hit an RBI single to take the victory.

Casen Hutfles, Keagan Venneberg, and Jackson Kolterman each drove in one run for Onaga. Jackson Kolterman stole two of his team's 5 bases

Kemper Clary led Doniphan West with two hits in four at bats. Paolino and Clary each drove in one run as well. The had patience at the plate, collecting seven walks for the game. Pace and Heim led the team with two walks each. In total D-West stole seven bases as D-West would take the 4-3 victory.
