Slifer King of the Mat at Onaga

Dylan Slifer has taken the wrestling world by storm this season and earlier this week claimed his spot atop the record books at Onaga High School as he now leads in both wins and pins for the Buffaloes.

A record that was previously owned by one of the best wrestlers in state history Dustin Blow and Kyle Ames in 2015, Slifer surpassed 36 wins while also picking up his 30th pin passing Blow in that category as well.

The Buffalo team finished 3rd as a team as Xavier Berges, Jesse Miller, Trent Hardin and Parker Koch all took home top 3 finishes in their respective divisions.

But on this day and for many years in the future, Dylan Slifer will be known as one of the best wrestlers in OHS history.
