Valley Heights boys, Centralia girls show their skills at Frankfort Track Meet.

Teams from Hanover, Centralia, Valley Heights, Linn and Onaga traveled to Frankfort for a track meet this past Thursday. It was the Valley Heights boys behind wins in the 100 by Jayden Dewalt, in the 200 by Logan Gray (and a second-place finish by Aiden Unruh) and a dominating win for Creighton Smith in the shot put. Meanwhile the Centralia girls, took 4 of the top 5 spots in the mile. Kya Franklin finished in 6:21.30, less than 2 seconds ahead of her teammate, Keelyn Rempe while Cora Thompson and Meleah Talley finishing 4 and 5. Add in a pair of wins in the 4x100M and the 4x400M both consisting of Harper Kramer, Hayden Kramer, Mya Tanking and Tatum Kramer as well as Josie Haverkamp and Marissa Broxterman medaling in the javelin event and Centralia would win the team total by 49 points.
